Michael Leach

Michael Leach is blessed to be a Radio Professional with over 20 years of radio experience. The open door to her radio career began when the General Manager of WAWZ (STAR 99.1) heard Michael’s voice recorded on a voicemail system. And, just like that, with no radio experience, Michael was offered a DJ position for the afternoon show called “A Symphony of Praise!”

Currently, Michael is the Host of the “STAR Cares” radio program where she invites and interviews guests to encourage listeners toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. Michael also endeavors to empower listeners by providing relevant information regarding issues that affect their lives and communities. “STAR Cares” with Michael Leach continues to grow in popular demand and has been added to the lineup on STAR 93.3 (Cincinnati) and AM 910 KPOF (Denver). “STAR Cares” has also been expanded to the WAY FM network and can now be heard in 12 additional states, including Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington!

As the Public Affairs Coordinator for Pillar Media, Michael also produces the required FCC Compliance Quarterly Issues Reports and manages STAR’s Community Calendar.

In addition to her radio career, Michael also serves as a Business Executive, Pastor, Police and Fire Chaplain, and Advocate for sexually abused children. She endeavors to grow in her relationship with God and is committed to helping others do the same. Michael enjoys reading and studying the Bible, sharing time with her family, singing, taking long walks, watching action movies, and eating delicious food. She is married to her best friend and together, they have been blessed with two beautiful children.

A fervent worshiper, Michael loves the Lord and the Lord’s people, and counts it an honor and privilege to be called by God to serve in the Kingdom for such a time as this.
